Tác động của sự tin tưởng và học hỏi địa phương đến hiệu suất đổi mới của các công ty con thuộc doanh nghiệp đa quốc gia (MNE) tại Trung Quốc

Chúng tôi nghiên cứu hiệu suất đổi mới của các công ty con trong các doanh nghiệp đa quốc gia (MNE) tại Trung Quốc từ góc nhìn liên kết địa phương bên ngoài. Chúng tôi dựa vào các nghiên cứu trước đây về sự liên kết của công ty con và sử dụng lý thuyết trao đổi xã hội (SET) để phát triển các giả thuyết liên quan đến cách mà sự tin tưởng với các đối tác địa phương và việc học hỏi từ các đối tác địa phương sẽ ảnh hưởng đến hiệu suất đổi mới của các công ty con MNE tại Trung Quốc. Để phù hợp với đặc điểm của bối cảnh Trung Quốc, chúng tôi lập luận rằng hiệu suất đổi mới sẽ bị ảnh hưởng tích cực bởi các mối quan hệ tin tưởng với các đối tác bên ngoài địa phương, bất kể vị trí của công ty con ở đâu tại Trung Quốc. Mặt khác, chúng tôi lập luận rằng vai trò của việc học hỏi từ các đối tác địa phương đối với hiệu suất đổi mới của công ty con là đặc thù theo vị trí, phụ thuộc vào mức độ mà vị trí đó hỗ trợ một nền kinh tế đổi mới và tri thức. Ngoài ra, chúng tôi giả thuyết về một hiệu ứng tương tác theo vị trí giữa sự tin tưởng và học hỏi địa phương. Sử dụng dữ liệu từ một cuộc khảo sát với 306 nhà quản lý công ty con MNE tại ba địa điểm cấp một ở Trung Quốc (Bắc Kinh, Thượng Hải và Quảng Châu), chúng tôi tìm thấy sự hỗ trợ mạnh mẽ cho các giả thuyết của mình và xác định được hiệu ứng tương tác mạnh nhất giữa sự tin tưởng và học hỏi địa phương tại Bắc Kinh.
