Tóm tắt

Ống cuộn hạt (GCT) là một đoạn của hệ thống ống dẫn ở tất cả các loài gặm nhấm, nằm giữa các ống dẫn vân và ống dẫn xen kẽ. Nó có đặc điểm đặc biệt là tổng hợp một loạt các polypeptide sinh học có hoạt tính, vai trò của chúng trong nước bọt vẫn còn chưa rõ. Tài liệu về cấu trúc vi mô của tế bào GCT được xem xét một cách phê phán. Một số phát triển gần đây về sự điều hòa nội tiết của cấu trúc và nội dung của tế bào GCT ở gặm nhấm được tóm tắt, với sự nhấn mạnh vào EGF, NGF, renin, và các protease kallikrein.
