Sự phân bố của một số hợp chất organochlorine trong biển Baltic

Trong một chuyến khảo sát, bao phủ toàn bộ khu vực biển Baltic, vào tháng 5/tháng 6 năm 1983, từ Kattegat qua biển Belt, biển Baltic chính, và các vịnh Phần Lan và Bothnia, các cuộc điều tra về sự phân bố của một số hợp chất organochlorine đã được thực hiện. Theo sự trao đổi nước trong Kattegat và biển Belt, có thể thấy một sự phân tầng theo chiều dọc đối với α-, β-, γ-HCH và DDT — với nồng độ cao hơn trong nước bề mặt chảy ra có độ mặn thấp và giá trị thấp hơn trong nước đáy chảy vào với độ mặn cao. Nồng độ nước đáy trong Kattegat và biển Belt tăng từ Bắc xuống Nam do sự pha trộn với nước bề mặt. Về phía Đông của đập Darss, mẫu phân bố trở nên đồng nhất hơn với chỉ những khác biệt nhỏ trong nồng độ trung bình giữa các bể khác nhau tạo thành biển Baltic.
