We study the complete Steenrod algebra
$${{\hat{{\fancyscript A}}}}$$
for an odd prime p and its relations with the generalized Dickson algebra on infinitely many generators, as a
$${\mathbb{Z} [\frac{1}{p}]}$$
-graded algebra.
