Bài báo này phác thảo ứng dụng của thiết kế thí nghiệm yếu tố vào việc xử lý sợi polypropylene (PP). Hai ví dụ được đưa ra. Ví dụ đầu tiên đề cập đến tác động của điều kiện đùn nóng chảy đối với sự định hướng tổng thể của các chuỗi đại phân tử PP trong các sợi được kéo. Ví dụ thứ hai đề cập đến tác động của điều kiện kéo đối với trật tự tinh thể và định hướng chuỗi trong giai đoạn kéo đầu tiên của các sợi PP được kéo.
