Mối Quan Hệ Giữa Thời Gian Lưu Trú và Tình Trạng Sức Khỏe Tự Đánh Giá của Sinh Viên Quốc Tế Tại Hàn Quốc

Nghiên cứu này đã khảo sát mối quan hệ giữa thời gian lưu trú và tình trạng sức khỏe tự đánh giá của sinh viên quốc tế tại Hàn Quốc, đồng thời so sánh các đặc điểm liên quan đến sức khỏe của người tham gia theo thời gian lưu trú. Nghiên cứu đã tuyển chọn một mẫu thuận tiện gồm 165 sinh viên quốc tế đang theo học các chương trình đại học hoặc sau đại học. Đối với nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang này, người tham gia được tuyển từ một trường đại học tại Hàn Quốc. Dữ liệu đã được phân tích bằng hồi quy logistic thứ tự. Sau khi kiểm soát các biến đồng covariate, thời gian lưu trú dưới 6 tháng là yếu tố dự đoán có ý nghĩa về tình trạng sức khỏe tự đánh giá tốt hơn. So với những người ở học kỳ đầu tiên, sinh viên quốc tế lưu trú trên 6 tháng thường gặp phải tình trạng ngủ ngắn, triệu chứng sức khỏe thể chất, mức độ sử dụng dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe, nhu cầu chăm sóc sức khỏe chưa được đáp ứng và cảm nhận về phân biệt đối xử. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy sức khỏe của sinh viên quốc tế có xu hướng xấu đi sau học kỳ đầu tiên. Để thúc đẩy sức khỏe và thành công học thuật của sinh viên quốc tế, các trường đại học nên cung cấp các chương trình tăng cường sức khỏe kịp thời.
