Mô hình Xử lý Thông tin Xã hội (SIP) của McFall (1982, 1989) phác thảo các giai đoạn khác nhau trong quá trình xử lý nhận thức và ra quyết định có thể bị thiếu hụt ở những người đàn ông tham gia vào bạo lực giữa các cá nhân (IPV).
