Relationships for calculation of the stress-strain state, which occurs under bending on the corrugated part of a flat bar in the plastic region, are presented. Expressions for determination of the tangential and radial stresses take into account the hardening of flat bars and bands that takes place under plastic bending. When making allowance for the constancy of second volumes and the variation in longitudinal speeds of metal across the width of the flat bar in the plane of output from the rollers, a relationship for the computation of a flatness parameter under the bending of the corrugated part of the flat bar in the plastic region was obtained.
