TEODOOR: cơ sở hạ tầng dữ liệu địa lý phân tán cho dữ liệu quan sát trên cạn

Trong khuôn khổ sáng kiến TERENO, bốn đài quan sát mặt đất đã được thiết lập từ năm 2008, thu thập một khối lượng lớn dữ liệu môi trường. Để quản lý, mô tả, trao đổi và công bố các dữ liệu này, cơ sở hạ tầng Dữ liệu Không gian phân tán TEODOOR (http://www.tereno.net) đã được tạo ra. Mỗi tổ chức phụ trách một đài quan sát riêng lẻ phát triển hạ tầng dữ liệu địa phương của riêng mình, có thể giao tiếp với nhau để trao đổi dữ liệu và siêu dữ liệu nội bộ hoặc tới công chúng thông qua các dịch vụ Web tuân thủ OGC. Cổng dữ liệu TEODOOR hoạt động như một nút cơ sở dữ liệu cung cấp cho các nhà khoa học và các nhà quyết định dữ liệu đáng tin cậy và dễ tiếp cận. Nhiều công cụ như tìm kiếm phân cấp hoặc chức năng Web-GIS cho phép cái nhìn sâu sắc hơn vào các đài quan sát khác nhau, các địa điểm thử nghiệm và mạng cảm biến. Dữ liệu cảm biến có thể được truy vấn và lựa chọn theo các tham số đã đo, trạm và/hoặc khoảng thời gian, và có thể được trực quan hóa và tải về theo chính sách dữ liệu chung của TERENO.
