Mục tiêu của bài báo này là xem xét các bảng khảo sát cụ thể về tăng sinh tuyến tiền liệt lành tính (BPH), dựa trên triệu chứng và chất lượng cuộc sống (QOL), nhằm cung cấp cho các nhà nghiên cứu và bác sĩ thông tin mô tả về nội dung và tính psychometric của chúng (tính hợp lệ cấu trúc, tính nhất quán nội bộ, độ tin cậy kiểm tra lại và độ nhạy với sự thay đổi). Điều này sẽ tạo cơ sở cho việc lựa chọn các công cụ để sử dụng trong nghiên cứu và thực hành lâm sàng.
