Tóm tắt Đại dịch COVID-19 hiện tại đã nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc sử dụng có ý thức các nguồn lực tài chính và con người. Việc bảo tồn tài nguyên và nhân lực là điều tối quan trọng trong lĩnh vực chăm sóc sức khỏe. Cần thiết phải đảm bảo khả năng hoạt động của các bác sĩ phẫu thuật và các chuyên gia chuyên môn trong suốt thời gian diễn ra đại dịch. Cần có những nỗ lực ý thức để giảm thiểu sự lây nhiễm trong lĩnh vực này. Tỷ lệ tử vong cao trong nhóm này sẽ rất nghiêm trọng. Tài liệu này là kết quả của sự hợp tác giữa các hiệp hội phẫu thuật và gây mê lớn nhất của Ý: ACOI, SIC, SICUT, SICO, SICG, SIFIPAC, SICE và SIAARTI. Chúng tôi hướng tới việc mô tả các lộ trình lâm sàng được khuyến nghị cho những bệnh nhân dương tính với COVID-19 cần chăm sóc phẫu thuật cấp cứu không thể hoãn lại.
