Mục đích của nghiên cứu là dịch các công cụ đánh giá triệu chứng vùng chậu và chất lượng cuộc sống từ tiếng Anh sang tiếng Tây Ban Nha, nhằm tạo điều kiện cho sự tham gia nghiên cứu của phụ nữ gốc Tây Ban Nha/Latina. Quy trình dịch trước-sau đã được áp dụng và sau đó được thẩm định bởi một hội đồng thỏa thuận. Các công cụ bao gồm: Kho từ vựng đáng lo ngại về sàn chậu (PFDI), Bảng hỏi tác động lên sàn chậu (PFIQ), Bảng hỏi về Y tế, Sự Tình cờ và các Khía cạnh Xã hội của Lão hóa (MESA), Đo độ nghiêm trọng của Hunskaar, Chỉ số độ nghiêm trọng tiểu tiện không kiểm soát, và Bảng hỏi Manchester sửa đổi, Bảng hỏi về chức năng tình dục trong rối loạn sa sinh dục/tiểu tiện không kiểm soát (PISQ), và Bảng hỏi Định hướng Cuộc sống (LOT).
