Bọt là một chất lỏng giả-plastic không newton, được sử dụng trong khoan, can thiệp giếng và kích thích. Dự đoán hiệu suất vận chuyển các cắt trong không gian ống giếng là rất quan trọng để tối ưu hóa quy trình khoan. Trong bài báo này, quá trình vận chuyển cắt bằng bọt được mô phỏng số bằng mô hình hai pha Eulerian trong các ống giếng nghiêng. Một gói phần mềm động lực học chất lỏng tính toán (CFD) gọi là FLUENT đã được sử dụng cho mục đích này. Tác động của chất lượng bọt, tốc độ bọt, sự quay của ống khoan và độ nghiêng của giếng tới hiện tượng vận chuyển cắt trong cả không gian ống đồng tâm và không gian ống lệch tâm được nghiên cứu. Kết quả mô phỏng được so sánh với dữ liệu thực nghiệm từ các nghiên cứu trước đó, với sai số tương đối nhỏ hơn 8%. Nghiên cứu này cho thấy độ tin cậy của mô phỏng CFD trong việc tái tạo quá trình vật lý thực tế.
