Một phương pháp định lượng sắc ký lỏng – phổ khối tách tầng (LC–MS/MS) dựa trên việc kết tủa protein trực tiếp với pha di động đã được phát triển, xác thực và áp dụng để phân tích Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), 11-hydroxy-Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (11-OH-THC) và 11-nor-9-carboxy-Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC-COOH) trong huyết tương người cho các mục đích pháp y. Việc tách sắc ký được thực hiện với cột phân tích Luna 5 µm C18 (2) 100 A, 150 × 2 mm và elution với dòng chảy được lập trình của pha di động bao gồm A (H2O/methanol, 95:5, v/v) và B (H2O/methanol, 3:97, v/v), cả hai đều có 10 mM acetate amoni và 0,1% axit acetic.
