Bài báo này nghiên cứu tác động của các cú sốc bên ngoài lên chiến lược doanh nghiệp của các tập đoàn kinh doanh người Hoa trong bối cảnh Indonesia. Nó báo cáo về một nghiên cứu điển hình sâu rộng, theo chiều dài và so sánh của bốn nhóm người Hoa Indonesia nổi bật, tất cả đều đã thực hiện các thay đổi chiến lược lớn để phản ứng với cuộc khủng hoảng tài chính châu Á.
