Separation of a variable electric field into potential and induced components
Tóm tắt
It is shown that external exciters of a variable electromagnetic field can always be represented in the form of superposition of a potential electric field and an eddy electric current and the variable electric field excited by them in an arbitrary heterogeneous medium can always be separated into potential and induced components, differently reflecting the geoelectric structure. These distinctions can be successfully used for increasing the efficiency of electromagnetic studies of the Earth.
