Tóm tắt

A comparison is made between the parameters of the artificial radioactive isotope Caesium 137 and the surface salinity which were measured in the North Sea during DHI radiological research voyages. The salinity distribution shows that in the North Sea Caesium 137 is not bound to particular water-bodies having a definite salinity. It is mixed with all types of North Sea water. Turbulent exchange processes play an essential part in the distribution of Cs 137 in the North Sea.
