Siêu âm nội soi (EUS) có độ phân giải không gian tuyệt vời và cho phép kiểm tra chi tiết hơn so với siêu âm bụng (US) về chẩn đoán định tính ung thư và đánh giá mức độ xâm lấn của khối u. Để hiểu rõ vai trò của EUS trong bệnh lý túi mật, chúng ta cần hiểu cấu trúc thành túi mật bình thường và cách để nhìn thấy nó trên EUS. Ngoài ra, các tổn thương túi mật có thể được phân loại thành hai thể loại chính: tổn thương lồi và tổn thương dày thành. Ở đây, các đặc điểm trên EUS được nêu rõ. Chúng tôi cũng đã nêu rõ tình trạng hiện tại của EUS-FNA đối với các tổn thương túi mật vì đã có một số báo cáo rải rác về EUS-FNA trong những năm gần đây.
