Tóm tắt

In the production process of copper alloy metal mold casting, the surface of the mold cavity must bear the effects of erosion wear and thermal stress of high-temperature liquid metal, resulting in fatigue cracks and erosion corrosion on the mold surface, which seriously affects the service life of the mold. To address the problems of short mold life and poor surface quality of castings in the casting process of copper alloy water-meter shell, a new type of mold surface treatment coating was developed. The effects of refractory filler, suspending agent and binder on the properties of suspensibility, viscosity, adhesion, wear resistance, drying crack resistance and demolding performance of the coating were studied by single factor and orthogonal test. The formula of water meter-shell copper mold coating was optimized and verified in the production practice. The results show that when talc powder is 55wt%, mica powder is 30wt%, boron nitride is 15 wt%, sodium bentonite is 6wt%, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is 0.5wt%, sodium silicate is 10wt%, sodium hexametaphosphate is 1.2wt%, and solid-to-liquid ratio is 1:2, the coating has high bonding strength with the mold surface, and the coating does not fall off, which can better protect the mold surface from the erosion and wear of the alloy melt, and effectively improve the service life of the mold and the quality of the casting.
