Recommandations pour la pratique de l’imagerie dans l’évaluation d’une incontinence urinaire féminine non neurologique

En dehors de l’évaluation échographique du résidu postmictionnel, le recours aux examens radiologiques n’est pas recommandé dans l’évaluation initiale d’une incontinence urinaire féminine non neurologique. La réalisation d’une cystographie n’est pas recommandée pour évaluer une IUE, par urgence ou mixte, non compliquée de première intention. La réalisation d’une cystographie peut être recommandée en cas d’incontinence urinaire, complexe, compliquée ou récidivée, de discordance entre la clinique et le BUD ou en cas de prolapsus associé. Dans ce cas, il convient de préférer une CCD, voire une IRMD. La réalisation d’une échographie n’est pas recommandée pour l’évaluation initiale d’une IUE pure. La réalisation d’une échographie, en évitant une hyperdiurése et aprés unemiction spontanée, est recommandée pour l’étude du résidu post-mictionnel et pour évaluer une bandelette sous-urétrale compliquée. L’échographie est un test optionnel en cas d’incontinence urinaire complexe ou récidivée, de discordance entre clinique et BUD ou en cas de prolapsus. La réalisation d’une IRMD n’est actuellement pas recommandée pour l’évaluation initiale d’une incontinence urinaire.
