La lombalgie chronique reste un problème de santé majeur. Malgré un grand nombre de propositions thérapeutiques, elle reste difficile à contrôler. Le reconditionnement à l’effort et le renforcement musculaire font partie des recommandations chez le lombalgique chronique. Développés au cours d’une prise en charge globale répondant au caractère plurifactoriel de ce symptôme, ils ont pour objectif essentiel l’insertion sociale et professionnelle. Le versant éducatif est essentiel, car c’est la modification durable des habitudes de vie qui conditionne le résultat.
