Tóm tắtĐịa hình bề mặt đất có ảnh hưởng đáng kể đến các quá trình thoát nước và xói mòn. Một hệ thống được phát triển để xác định độ dốc, hướng và độ cong trong cả hai hướng dốc xuống và ngang dốc, dựa trên một ma trận độ cao. Ngoài ra, khu vực thoát nước phía trên dốc và khoảng cách thoát nước tối đa được xác định cho mỗi điểm trong ma trận độ cao. Một chương trình FORTRAN 66 thực hiện phân tích này.
