Tóm tắtCác thử nghiệm được mô tả trong bài báo này nhằm đánh giá khả năng căng của các điểm neo kết nối giữa một kho tự động với một nền móng bê tông cốt thép (RC) hiện có. Kho hàng là một kết cấu thép mới được dựng lên tại vị trí kho hàng trước đây đã sụp đổ do trận động đất Emilia, nhưng nền tảng của nó vẫn không bị hư hại. Phương pháp neo được khảo sát bao gồm 10 thanh ren được gắn vào sau, có đường kính (d) và độ sâu chôn (hef) lần lượt là 20 và 500 mm. Cả kích thước bố trí neo và độ sâu chôn (hef > 20d) đều không được đề cập trong các tiêu chuẩn hiện hành về thiết kế kết nối. Để tái tạo các điều kiện thực tế tại chỗ của điểm neo, một cấu hình thử nghiệm không hạn chế đã được sử dụng. Tải trọng tối đa đạt được lớn hơn 3 lần so với yêu cầu động đất cho điểm neo. Các thử nghiệm đã làm nổi bật vai trò quan trọng của thép gia cường có mặt trong nền móng. Các cơ chế hỏng liên quan đến bê tông, chẳng hạn như cơ chế kéo ra kết hợp và cơ chế nón bê tông điển hình của các neo gắn kết, không hoạt động. Các mẫu nứt quan sát được cho thấy sự xuất hiện của cơ chế hỏng uốn của tấm bê tông. Đặc điểm này được xác nhận bởi các tính toán phân tích cho thấy, tại các tải trọng tối đa đạt được trong các thử nghiệm, thép gia cường phía trên có khả năng đã bị kéo căng. Trong sáu thử nghiệm kéo không hạn chế ban đầu trên từng điểm neo, đã xảy ra sự hỏng hoại của thanh thép, liên quan đến nứt hạn chế bề mặt bê tông gần khu vực neo.
