Với mối quan tâm ngày càng tăng về các yếu tố liên quan đến sự phát triển tích cực và sự gia tăng dân số nói tiếng Tây Ban Nha tại Hoa Kỳ, việc cung cấp bằng chứng về độ hợp lệ cho các công cụ bằng tiếng Tây Ban Nha với các quần thể Latinx ngày càng trở nên cần thiết. Nghiên cứu này báo cáo các đặc điểm tâm lý học của các phiên bản tiếng Tây Ban Nha của Thang đo Sự phục hồi ngắn (BRS; Smith và cộng sự 2008) và Thang đo Kiên trì ngắn (Grit-S; Duckworth và Quinn 2009) với mẫu gồm 193 sinh viên đại học Latinx. Các phân tích yếu tố khẳng định cho thấy rằng Grit-S và BRS có sự phù hợp mô hình tốt.
