Dựa trên tài liệu nghiên cứu, bài viết đề cập đến mức độ mà các tương tác trong gia đình đóng vai trò trong các rối loạn tâm thần và một số vấn đề sức khỏe thể chất. Trị liệu mối quan hệ và gia đình cho thấy có giá trị rõ ràng so với các phương pháp điều trị cá nhân trong nhiều lĩnh vực khác nhau.
