Việc đồng điều trị astragalin và quercetin (AGQC) đã làm giảm đáng kể tổn thương keratinocyte do tia cực tím (UV) gây ra. Việc sử dụng AGQC trên chuột bị chiếu xạ UV đã làm giảm sự thay đổi mô học của da và mức độ chemokine (ligand motif C-X-C) 1 (CXCL1) và CXCL2. Những kết quả này cho thấy AGQC có tiềm năng được sử dụng như một hợp chất bảo vệ chống lại tổn thương da do tia cực tím gây ra.
