Bài viết này ghi lại những trải nghiệm của phụ nữ về xâm hại tình dục qua hình ảnh (IBSA) tại Singapore. Dựa trên 30 trường hợp IBSA được báo cáo cho một dịch vụ hỗ trợ nạn nhân xâm hại tình dục địa phương, bài viết sử dụng lưới phân loại IBSA của McGlynn, Rackley và Houghton (Nghiên cứu Pháp lý Nữ quyền 25(1):25–46, 2017) và phân loại IBSA của Powell và Henry (2017) để phác thảo các cách khác nhau mà công nghệ hình ảnh ảnh hưởng đến trải nghiệm bạo lực tình dục của phụ nữ Singapore. Bài viết này cũng mở rộng tài liệu IBSA hiện có đã tập trung vào các trường hợp liên quan đến việc phát tán hình ảnh, các không gian công cộng trực tuyến và các đối tượng lạ, để cung cấp một cái nhìn về IBSA trong không gian riêng tư. Tôi lập luận rằng trong khi các khung hình chiếm ưu thế cho thấy IBSA liên quan mật thiết đến các điều kiện của không gian công cộng, những trường hợp này cho thấy cách mà IBSA và các nạn nhân/sống sót của IBSA vẫn bị che giấu về mặt diễn ngữ, không gian và chính trị. Bài viết này nhấn mạnh sự cần thiết phải bao gồm không gian riêng tư như một địa điểm phân tích để làm sâu sắc hơn hiểu biết về các loại IBSA, bối cảnh và nạn nhân/sống sót trong nghiên cứu quốc tế.
