Tỷ lệ Ngược đãi Trẻ em và Tác động của Sự Truyền Thông Liên thế hệ về Bạo lực đối với Thái độ về Bạo lực Gia đình trong Học viên Cảnh sát Trung Quốc

Vào năm 2015, Trung Quốc đã thông qua luật pháp hình sự hóa bạo lực gia đình/ngược đãi trẻ em và cung cấp bảo vệ cho các nạn nhân của ngược đãi trẻ em. Nhất quán với sự truyền thông liên thế hệ về bạo lực, các nghiên cứu trước đây trên phạm vi toàn cầu đã chỉ ra rằng trải nghiệm ngược đãi trẻ em có mối liên hệ tích cực với thái độ ủng hộ bạo lực gia đình. Tuy nhiên, nghiên cứu thực hiện tại Trung Quốc giữa các học viên cảnh sát Trung Quốc không tìm thấy mối quan hệ giữa ngược đãi trẻ em và thái độ đối với bạo lực trong hẹn hò. Dữ liệu khảo sát từ 404 học viên cảnh sát đang theo học tại Học viện Cảnh sát Chiết Giang ở Hàng Châu, Trung Quốc đã được phân tích. Phần lớn học viên (64,10%) đã trải qua ngược đãi trẻ em. Gần một trong năm học viên (19,10%) đã chứng kiến bạo lực gia đình trong hộ gia đình của họ. Không có sự khác biệt đáng kể nào giữa các học viên nam và nữ liên quan đến ngược đãi trẻ em hoặc chứng kiến bạo lực gia đình. Các học viên nam báo cáo có thái độ ủng hộ bạo lực gia đình nhiều hơn so với các học viên nữ. Ngược đãi trẻ em và chứng kiến bạo lực gia đình không liên quan đến thái độ đối với bạo lực gia đình.
