Hành vi đáng chú ý của con cái Ozophora baranowskii trong việc nhẹ nhàng gõ lên con đực bằng chân sau trong suốt quá trình giao phối đã được nghiên cứu liên quan đến việc giao phối nhiều lần, thời gian giao phối và sự chuyển giao tinh trùng. Việc giao phối nhiều lần không ảnh hưởng đến khả năng sinh sản, tỉ lệ thụ tinh, hoặc tuổi thọ của con cái. Tần suất hành vi gõ lên con đực cao hơn trong các cuộc giao phối ngắn, điều này không dẫn đến việc chuyển giao tinh trùng cho con cái. Hành vi gõ của con cái có thể là một cơ chế để lựa chọn giữa những con đực sau khi quá trình giao phối đã bắt đầu.
