Chúng tôi đề xuất một phiên bản mới của bộ mô phỏng người đi bộ, CrowdWalk, với một khung linh hoạt để kiểm soát và cải thiện hành vi chi tiết của người đi bộ cũng như thay đổi điều kiện của môi trường. Để cung cấp một khung mô phỏng động lực học người đi bộ nhằm thỏa mãn các yêu cầu mâu thuẫn, khả năng mở rộng và linh hoạt, chúng tôi đã thêm một chức năng mới để kiểm soát các điều kiện mô phỏng thông qua mã Ruby bên trong mô phỏng của CrowdWalk. Chức năng mới này cho phép thay đổi môi trường mô phỏng và hành vi của các tác nhân trong suốt quá trình mô phỏng. Sử dụng cơ sở này, chúng tôi có thể thực hiện các mô phỏng khác nhau một cách đồng nhất mà không cần thay đổi mã nguồn của bộ mô phỏng.
