Nghiên cứu này xem xét cách trải nghiệm của các công ty đa quốc gia Nhật Bản (MNCs) tại nước tiếp nhận ảnh hưởng đến chính sách tuyển dụng cho các vị trí giám đốc điều hành tại các chi nhánh nước ngoài. Các giả thuyết về chính sách tuyển dụng giám đốc điều hành cho các chi nhánh nước ngoài được kiểm nghiệm thông qua dữ liệu khảo sát thu thập từ 103 chi nhánh Nhật Bản tại Hàn Quốc. Kết quả cho thấy mức độ tích hợp toàn cầu và mức độ tập trung trong ra quyết định có ảnh hưởng tích cực đến việc chỉ định công dân của quốc gia mẹ làm giám đốc điều hành cho các chi nhánh nước ngoài. Chúng tôi cũng phát hiện rằng trải nghiệm của các chi nhánh nước ngoài tại một nước tiếp nhận có tác động điều chỉnh đối với cả hai yếu tố tích hợp toàn cầu và tập trung trong quyết định tuyển dụng cho các chi nhánh.
