Tóm tắt Mục tiêu Trong những năm gần đây, quyền kê đơn đã được mở rộng không chỉ cho bác sĩ và nha sĩ tại Vương quốc Anh, mà còn cho y tá và sau đó là dược sĩ. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là khám phá nhận thức của bác sĩ đa khoa (GP) về những lợi ích và bất lợi của việc kê đơn bổ sung của dược sĩ và sự xuất hiện trong tương lai của việc kê đơn độc lập. Phương pháp Nghiên cứu định tính đã được tiến hành với các bác sĩ đa khoa từ ba cơ sở, trong mỗi cơ sở có một dược sĩ kê đơn thường xuyên làm việc. Những phát hiện chính Các dược sĩ kê đơn, tất cả những người đã làm việc tại cơ sở khi họ đủ điều kiện làm dược sĩ kê đơn, đã thương lượng về các lĩnh vực công việc mới. Không phải tất cả bác sĩ đa khoa trong các cơ sở đều chuyển gửi bệnh nhân cho các dược sĩ kê đơn. Các bác sĩ đa khoa đã chuyển gửi bệnh nhân thường mô tả những lợi ích từ dịch vụ, mặc dù có một số sự lẫn lộn. Có bằng chứng cho thấy các bác sĩ đa khoa đã, ở một mức độ nào đó, tái xác định ranh giới chuyên môn của họ và ủy quyền một số công việc thường lệ không liên quan đến chẩn đoán và chỉ có quyết định giới hạn. Bằng cách này, các bác sĩ đa khoa kiểm soát các ranh giới giữa các chuyên môn.
