Vận hành của bể sinh học màng theo chuỗi tích hợp xử lý nước thải chứa phẩm màu ở các thời gian lưu giữ bùn khác nhau: Nghiên cứu hiệu suất toàn diện và hành vi bám bùn

Mục tiêu chính của công trình này là nghiên cứu hiệu suất tổng thể và hành vi bám bùn của bể sinh học màng theo chuỗi tích hợp (SBMBR) xử lý nước thải chứa phẩm màu tổng hợp ở các thời gian lưu giữ bùn khác nhau (SRT) là 10, 40 và 160 ngày. Do đó, hiệu suất loại bỏ màu và nhu cầu oxy hóa hóa học (COD) cũng như tỷ lệ bám bùn màng, cùng với các đặc tính bùn chính bao gồm các chất polyme ngoại bào (EPS), sản phẩm vi sinh khả dụng (SMP), phân bố kích thước hạt (PSD), và độ nhớt rõ ràng đã được đánh giá trong thời gian vận hành của ba SBMBR. Theo các kết quả thu được, hiệu suất tẩy màu được ghi nhận tăng theo tăng SRT trong khi hiệu suất loại bỏ COD cũng cao (94–97%) ở tất cả các SBMBR bất kể sự thay đổi SRT. Tỷ lệ tăng áp suất xuyên màng (TMP) thấp hơn nhiều trong SBMBR hoạt động ở SRT 160 ngày so với hai SBMBR còn lại. Sự phát triển màng bùn trên bề mặt màng được coi là cơ chế bám bùn chính trong ba SBMBR. Trong số các đặc tính bùn đã nêu, EPS đặc hiệu và hệ số đồng nhất của phân bố kích thước hạt được gợi ý là các yếu tố kiểm soát tỷ lệ bám bùn màng trong ba SBMBR. Trong quá trình vận hành ở SRT kéo dài (160 ngày trong nghiên cứu này), hiệu suất tẩy màu tốt hơn và tỷ lệ bám bùn sinh học thấp hơn đã được đạt được trong hệ thống SBMBR.
