New Representative of the Genus Aulacoseira (Bacillariophyta) from Chukotka (Russia)
Tóm tắt
A new species of diatoms, Aulacoseira chukotkaensis sp. nov., is described using scanning electron microscopy. The new species is morphologically similar to other species of the genus. It differs from A. alpigena by the number of rows of areolae (per 10 µm) and the length and shape of the spines, from A. helvetica by the valve height and number of rows of areolae (per 10 µm), and from A. pardata by the shape of spines and number of rows of areolae (per 10 µm).
