Nachbehandlung nach anatomischer und inverser Schulter-TEP

Steigende Operationszahlen machen heute in den entwickelten Industrieländern die Implantation von Schulterendoprothesen zur Regelversorgung, die überwiegend in spezialisierten Zentren erfolgt. Die Wiederherstellung einer schmerzfreien Schulterfunktion nach Schultertotalendoprothese erfordert eine intensive gezielte und individuelle Nachbehandlung. Diese zeigt einen phasenhaften Verlauf mit unterschiedlichen Anforderungen und Maßnahmen, die sich über mehrere Monate erstrecken. Eine Rückkehr in den Sport und eine schmerzfreie gute Funktion im Alltag sind die Regel und damit eine hohe Patientenzufriedenheit. Diese sehr guten Aussichten sollen gemeinsam mit der Aufklärung über Umfang und Intensität der Nachbehandlung Teil der präoperativen Entscheidungsfindung sein.
