Tóm tắt

Tumoral calcinosis is a benign condition characterized by gradual increase in juxta-articular calcified soft-tissue mass due to the deposition of calcium phosphate crystals. Our aim is to highlight an unusual case of a 4-year-old child with multiple painless lumps in the periarticular soft tissue. The diagnosis of juvenile hyaline fibromatosis was made clinically. After fine-needle aspiration cytology and histopathological examination, the diagnosis of tumoral calcinosis was offered. The treatment remains essentially surgical (for the primary normophosphatemic type), and the prognosis is usually good.
