Het uitsluitend classificeren van persoonlijkheidsstoornissen volgens de DSM staat al jaren ter discussie; vanwege de lage validiteit, excessieve comorbiditeit, en beperkte klinische bruikbaarheid. 1 Het is dan ook raadzaam om in de psychodiagnostiek ook het bredere functioneren van patiënten te onderzoeken.
