Tóm tắt

Cases of gastric and colonic fistula due to migration of drainage tube have been reported rarely. In the literature no series or cases have been found to have report of migrated JP (Jackson-Pratt) soft penrose silicon drain. The current study represents 4 cases of gastric and one case of colonic drain migration. All the cases were following pancreatic necrosectomy either laparoscopic or retroperitoneal. These is the condition, where the drains needed to be kept for longer period of the time. In fact, the JP drains are designed for the same, as they are made of silicon material. We have five cases of JP drain migration creating controlled enterocutaneous fistula with proximal migration of drain within stomach or colon. We are reporting our experience and management of the same.
