Hội chứng Proteus (PS) là một rối loạn cực kỳ hiếm gặp với sự phát triển xương không đối xứng và không tỷ lệ. Các bất thường vùng mặt và sọ trong PS ít phổ biến hơn so với các bất thường về xương. Mặc dù có những biểu hiện đường miệng và hàm mặt được công nhận của PS, nhưng có rất ít báo cáo ca mô tả những biểu hiện này. Do đó, mục tiêu của tổng quan hệ thống và báo cáo ca này là mô tả các biểu hiện đường miệng và hàm mặt của PS và báo cáo một trường hợp PS. Một nam giới 31 tuổi xuất hiện với hiện tượng mở miệng hạn chế và đau trong quá trình nhai. Một phim X-quang toàn cảnh và phim X-quang khớp cắn đã được thực hiện. Các báo cáo có từ khóa liên quan đã được đánh giá. Dữ liệu được tổng hợp và trình bày bằng cách sử dụng danh sách kiểm tra đánh giá phê bình cho các báo cáo ca.
