Năng suất tăng lên đạt 200% khi độ thấm tăng từ 500 đến 1000 L/(m2 h bar) và 56,2% khi nó tăng từ 1000 đến 1500 L/(m2 h bar). Hơn nữa, năng suất màng thẩm thấu tăng khoảng 248% khi chiều dài sợi từ 1 tăng lên 1,5 m. Dựa trên nghiên cứu này, chiều dài sợi và bán kính bên trong nên được lựa chọn cẩn thận để tối ưu hóa năng suất và đạt được sự đồng nhất trong quá trình lọc.
