Tóm tắt

Marine exposure trials were conducted on Albizia lebbeck and Tetrameles nudiflora timbers after pressure impregnation with two common wood preservatives viz. copper-chrome-arsenic and copper-chrome-boric. Results of the trials indicate that use of the two timber species would yield the envisaged benefits if catamarans are fabricated out of them after due treatment.
