Tóm tắtMục tiêuMặc dù việc khởi đầu sớm các thuốc kháng viêm tác động đến bệnh (DMARDs) có hiệu quả trong việc kiểm soát tổn thương khớp trong ngắn hạn ở những người mắc bệnh viêm khớp dạng thấp (RA), nhưng lợi ích lâu dài trong sự tiến triển của bệnh vẫn còn gây tranh cãi. Chúng tôi đã xem xét lợi ích lâu dài của việc khởi đầu sớm DMARDs đối với sự phát triển hình ảnh học trong bệnh RA giai đoạn đầu.Phương phápChúng tôi đã xác định các thử nghiệm lâm sàng đã công bố và chưa công bố cũng như các nghiên cứu quan sát từ năm 1966 đến tháng 9 năm 2004, kiểm tra mối liên hệ giữa việc trì hoãn khởi đầu điều trị và tổn thương khớp hình ảnh học tiến triển.
