Phân tích tường thuật xây dựng trên những điểm mạnh của nghiên cứu định tính bằng cách xem xét sự cấu thành ý nghĩa và các hệ thống biểu tượng trong một khuôn khổ được thiết lập rõ ràng về mặt thời gian và kết nối nghiên cứu trong lĩnh vực nhân văn với các nghiên cứu trong khoa học xã hội.
