Bài báo trình bày một mô hình sơ bộ, liên kết sự sáng tạo với ý định khởi nghiệp. Việc hình thành mô hình dựa trên một cuộc khảo sát ngẫu nhiên đối với sinh viên từ hai trường kỹ thuật. Việc ước lượng tham số của mô hình được hỗ trợ bởi Mô hình Phương trình Cấu trúc (SEM). Phân tích thống kê sâu rộng đã chứng minh tính hợp lệ của mô hình và các tham số. Kết quả cho thấy nhận thức về sự sáng tạo của sinh viên và môi trường gia đình ủng hộ tư duy sáng tạo có thể dự đoán mức độ ý định khởi nghiệp tăng cao. Hơn nữa, nghiên cứu hiện tại lập luận rằng môi trường đại học hiện nay không khuyến khích ý định khởi nghiệp thông qua sự phát triển tư duy sáng tạo. Bài báo kết thúc bằng việc thảo luận và kết luận về các kết quả và tổng quan về những hạn chế nghiên cứu.
