Cắt bỏ nửa khung chậu do chấn thương là những chấn thương hiếm gặp nhưng nghiêm trọng. Quản lý phẫu thuật đã được mô tả trong một số nghiên cứu ca, với việc cắt cụt chính thường được thực hiện nhằm cứu sống bệnh nhân. Chúng tôi báo cáo về hai bệnh nhân sống sót với tình trạng cắt bỏ nửa khung chậu hoàn toàn, dẫn đến tình trạng thiếu máu cục bộ và chân dưới bị liệt. Nhờ vào y học cấp cứu hiện đại và phẫu thuật tái tạo, việc bảo tồn chi đã được thực hiện. Kết quả lâu dài về chất lượng cuộc sống đã được đánh giá một năm sau tai nạn ban đầu. Các bệnh nhân có khả năng tự di chuyển và sống độc lập. Các chi còn lại không có chức năng và cảm giác. Kiểm soát tiểu tiện và chức năng tình dục vẫn tồn tại và việc đặt lại hậu môn nhân tạo có thể thực hiện được ở cả hai bệnh nhân. Cả hai bệnh nhân đều ủng hộ việc bảo tồn chi, mặc dù gặp khó khăn và cần điều trị theo dõi. Các trường hợp đồng thời là cần thiết để củng cố những phát hiện này.
