Vi è sempre maggior consenso sulla necessità di un approccio multisciplinare nella decisione terapeutica nel craniofaringioma. Il progresso tecnologico dell’ultimo decennio in radioterapia ha reso ancor più sicura la distribuzione della dose utile al controllo di malattia rispetto alle strutture critiche, limitando ulteriormente il rischio di danno tardivo. L’utilizzo di modalità più sofisticate di radioterapia apre nuove possibilità per un approccio conservativo e gravato da minori sequele.
