Các nanoparticle oxit titan pha tạp La và Fe với nhiều nồng độ La khác nhau đã được tổng hợp bằng phương pháp sol-gel. Tất cả các mẫu đã được đặc trưng hóa bằng các kỹ thuật nhiễu xạ tia X, kính hiển vi điện tử quét, phổ phát quang, biến đổi Fourier hồng ngoại và đo lường từ tính. Kết quả cho thấy cả ion La và Fe đã được pha tạp vào mạng tinh thể oxit titan, và không phát hiện được các pha thứ cấp bao gồm ion La và Fe. Kết quả từ tính cho thấy rằng các mẫu TiO2 pha tạp La và Fe chuẩn bị có cơ chế từ tính phức tạp, bao gồm hành vi từ ferromagnetic ở nhiệt độ phòng và hành vi paramagnetic.
