Tích hợp các triệu chứng vào lý thuyết giữa về tự chăm sóc bệnh mãn tính

Lý thuyết giữa về tự chăm sóc bệnh mãn tính đã được áp dụng rộng rãi kể từ khi được công bố lần đầu vào năm 2012. Với mục tiêu hoàn thiện lý thuyết, chúng tôi đã đánh giá lý thuyết này để xác định những lĩnh vực còn thiếu rõ ràng và có thể cải thiện. Khái niệm về giám sát tự chăm sóc được xác định là chưa phát triển đầy đủ. Chúng tôi vẫn chưa biết quá trình giám sát triệu chứng ảnh hưởng như thế nào đến quá trình đánh giá triệu chứng. Hơn nữa, mối liên hệ giữa giám sát tự chăm sóc và quản lý tự chăm sóc cần được làm rõ hơn. Vì cả hai vấn đề này đều liên quan đến triệu chứng, chúng tôi quyết định làm phong phú Lý thuyết giữa bằng những kiến thức từ các lý thuyết về triệu chứng. Tại đây, chúng tôi đề xuất một sự điều chỉnh cho Lý thuyết giữa về tự chăm sóc bệnh mãn tính, trong đó các triệu chứng được tích hợp rõ ràng với các hành vi tự chăm sóc bao gồm duy trì, giám sát và quản lý.
