Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là điều tra ảnh hưởng của năm phức hợp vanadi hữu cơ và một liều insulin nhỏ tiêm vào mức độ của V, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ca, và K trong thận của chuột gây đái tháo đường bằng streptozotocin trong suốt 5 tuần điều trị bằng các phức hợp đã thử nghiệm. Ở tất cả các nhóm động vật, nồng độ kim loại trong các cơ quan thận lyophilized được điều tra bằng phương pháp phát xạ tia X do proton kích thích. Nồng độ vanadi trong mô tổ chức tự nhiên cao hơn ở các chuột được điều trị bằng vanadi. Nồng độ vanadi tối đa quan sát được trong thận ($$ {x_{\text mean}} =16.6\ \upmu \mathrm{g}/\left. \mathrm{g} \right) $$ . Ảnh hưởng của việc bổ sung vanadi lên mức độ các kim loại khác trong mô của chuột cũng đã được điều tra. Ảnh hưởng rõ rệt của việc tiêm vanadi lên nồng độ đồng và kẽm trong mô được kiểm tra.
