TÓM TẮTNghiên cứu này điều tra mối liên hệ giữa độ tuổi, giới tính, tình trạng sống, mối quan hệ lãng mạn và tình trạng việc làm của những người trưởng thành trẻ tuổi Slovenia với các khía cạnh của quá trình cá thể hóa liên quan đến mẹ và cha. Độ tuổi và việc sống độc lập khỏi gia đình có mối liên hệ tích cực với khả năng tự lực liên quan đến cả hai bậc phụ huynh, trong khi giới tính nữ liên quan đến mức độ kết nối cao hơn và tìm kiếm sự hỗ trợ từ cha mẹ. Cùng với độ tuổi và sự tham gia vào mối quan hệ lãng mạn, sự kết nối và tự lực đã dự đoán sự đạt được tiêu chí tuổi trưởng thành và sự hài lòng trong cuộc sống. Kết quả ủng hộ các mô hình cá thể hóa nhấn mạnh sự phát triển tính tự chủ và giữ lại sự kết nối với cha mẹ như là những con đường hướng tới sự điều chỉnh cá nhân.
